Despite having only 12 athletes available, the PCM girls track and field team still assembled a solid outing Friday night at South Tama. The Mustangs put up 99 points, finishing fourth in the six-team meet. Williamsburg took the team title with 208 points; followed by Newton and Grinnell.
PCM’s relay teams continued their ascent this season, taking first place in the 4×200 and Sprint Medley Relays, and adding a silver in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay. Rachel Peter also hit a season’s best time in the 3000 Meter Run to take second place, among other top finishes.
