Keeping the ball on Knoxville’s side of the field for much of the night, the Pella High girls soccer team notched another shut-out Tuesday evening, blanking the Panthers 9-0. The Lady Dutch scored four times in the first half and added five more in the second half; putting through what would have been their tenth goal of the evening just as time expired.

Lexi DeHeer, Gabi Meirick and Bri Schroder each scored two goals for the Pella girls, and Meirick added four assists on the night. Knoxville goalkeeper Amber Klootwyk was bombarded all night, recording a mind-boggling 30 saves. The Pella High girls soccer team is now 3-1 on the season, while Knoxville falls to 0-3.
