Pella Hydrant Flushing Underway

Pella City Crews have started flushing fire hydrants. Curtis Jones at the Water Treatment Plant says they flush the hydrants a few times a year as a preventative maintenance measure. Drivers should not drive through the streams of water if they cross the roadway, as they could damage your vehicle. The Water Treatment Plant plans to have all of the Hydrants flushed by Thursday.
