Pleasantville opened the boys golf season with a win Friday evening, trumping a pair of teams in a triangular hosted by Grandview Park Baptist. The Trojans shot a combined 192, giving them plenty of breathing room in front of the host Defenders – who tallied a 223. Meskwaki Settlement finished third at 229. The Trojans’ top individual performer was Cody Marsh, carding a 43 to earn runner-up honors. Up next for the Pleasantville boys golfers is an invitational at Southeast Warren on Tuesday.
