Turbine and Generator Provider Chosen for Red Rock

Voith Hydro, a Delaware based company, has received a contract to supply the Red Rock Dam with generators and turbines for their upcoming hydroelectric project. The project will start next year. The hydroelectric plant will be built on the north tailwater side of the dam. Voith Hydro will supply two turbines and generators along with automation systems. The cost for this equipment will total nearly $50 million.
