Led by an outstanding all-around night by pitcher Bri Arkema, the Pella High softball team notched a solid 5-0 home victory over Eddyville-Blakesburg Tuesday night.  

Arkema was rock solid in the circle, allowing just three hits will striking out eight Rocket batters and walking none.  She further helped her cause by going 2-for-3 at the plate; joining Sierra Williams, Morgan Ernst and Allie DeMeulenaere as one of four Lady Dutch players with two or more hits.  

The win puts the Pella High softball team at 4-2 overall on the season.  They’ll open Little Hawkeye Conference play Thursday against Norwalk.
