Another impressive evening from sprinter Lexi Kain guided the PCM girls track and field team to a strong finish at the Cardinal Relays in Newton Thursday night. The Mustangs finished in third place, trailing only CMB and meet-winner Newton.

Kain earned individual golds in the 100 and 200 Meter Dashes, anchored the winning 4×100 Meter Team behind Mackenzie Clarke, Courtney Van Houweling and Emma Williams; and added a silver medal in the 400 Meter Dash. The Mustangs also saw Abbi Gilson land gold in the Discus and Kelsey Townsend claim the 100 Meter Hurdles crown.
