The Knoxville Fire and Rescue Department will be holding their annual open house pancake feed next Saturday. The event will run from 7am until noon at the Knoxville Fire Department. The fire department equipment will be on display, and Knoxville Interim Fire Chief Greg Higginbotham says that there also may be a fly-in from the Mercy helicopter. There will also be children’s activities, and families will be able to get an up-close and personal look at the fire trucks as well.
