Playing their second of a whopping four games this week, the Pella Christian boys soccer team managed to carry over the momentum from Monday night’s win over Perry to do the same at Carlisle; defeating the host Wildcats 2-0 Tuesday night. The Eagles put up one goal in each half, with John Admiraal scoring first and Dan Hessing adding the team’s second-half goal.
Alek Vink was solid in between the posts, tallying 12 saves. The victory bumps the Pella Christian boys soccer team to 8-4 overall on the season. They’ll have a tough league test on Thursday, when they take on a Norwalk squad that will be visiting the Tulip City for the second time this week.
