It was a night of “bests” for the Pella Christian girls golf team, as the Lady Eagles saw a pair of individual low scores turn into a season’s best team score at the Pella Golf and Country Club Thursday afternoon. Pella Christian nipped Norwalk by just one stroke – 208 to 209 – on the Lady Eagles’ home course, but it took career-best scores from Cori Uitermarkt (49) and Amy Dunsbergen (50) to get it done. Uitermarkt tied for medalist honors, while Dunsbergen was runner-up, capping off a night that saw all four Pella Christian scores at 55 or below.
