The PCM girls golf team is showing no signs of letting up, as the Mustangs came out on top at the Knoxville Invite on Monday afternoon – which included the host Panthers, as well as Pella High. PCM fired a 398 at the Pine Knolls Country club; 20 strokes in front of second-place Centerville. The Lady Dutch were next in line with a 420, while Knoxville Carded a 456.
Individual medalist honors went to PCM’s Maddie Peters, who carded an 18-hole score of 92. The Mustangs landed all four of their scorers in the top eight. There was plenty of green-and-white in that mix as well, though, as Pella High’s Amber Reynolds finished in third with a score of 95 as one of three Pella High players in the top ten. Knoxville’s low round came from Jessica Weldon, who fired a 106.
