Cali Vink, who graduated this weekend from Pella Christian High School, officially signed a letter of intent last week to continue her career as a basketball player. The 5’6” guard will play for Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois.

This past season, Vink averaged 6.3 points per game, led the Lady Eagles in assists and was second on the team in steals; helping the Pella Christian girls make it all the way to the Class 2A State Championship game, where they finished as runner up.

Trinity Christian will be a program on the rebound next season. The Trolls finished the 2011-12 slate with a 6-25 record and are in the process of hiring a new head coach.
