Tulip Time has ended any many of the tourist have already left town. Many visitors came to the area to enjoy the performances on the grandstand and at the Pella Opera House, or to shop at the craft markets in the Molengracht and West Market Park, or just to admire the Dutch costumes and architecture. The massive influx of tourist brought in outside dollars to shops and nonprofits in the area. The Tulip Time Steering Committee will meet next week to begin planning for next year’s Tulip Time.
