The Knoxville Baseball Squad has two non-conference games to start of this week and both are at home. Tomorrow…the Panthers play Chariton for the second time this season. Knoxville will want to atone for the first time around with the Chargers as things did not go so well in a 14-1 loss. Coach Joel Johnson wants to see two things happen win or lose this week. One is for his seniors to show more leadership to the younger player, and the other, the younger players to start playing better. He says the freshmen and sophomores have an opportunity to play varsity and he hopes they begin to realize the chance they have to get better and learn the game. After tomorrow’s game which can be heard live on AM 1320 KNIA the Panthers host Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday before ending the week with two conference opponents Grinnell and Oskaloosa.
