The Knoxville Baseball Squad followed the same script as the Panthers have followed for most of the season. Get down early and claw back only to come up short as they did last night to A-D-M 10-5. A-D-M jumped out to a 3-0 lead but Knoxville scored one run in the first, one in the third, and three in the seventh innings. The Tigers also plated runs in the third…fourth…fifth…sixth…and seventh innings. Jake Kendall got an R-B-I in the first for Knoxville, while Jared McClung continued swinging a good bat going 2/4 with an R-B-I. Knoxville slips to 6-21 on the season and will host Pella in a varsity doubleheader to close out a busy week that will see the Panthers play their seventh, and eighth games of the week. You can hear the nightcap of the twin bill on 92.1 KRLS tonight starting at around 7:30.
