Knoxville Hospital and Clinics CEO Kevin Kincaid says their mission hasn’t changed in the wake of the Supreme Court decision to uphold the main components of the Affordable Care Act. He tells KNIA/KRLS News that yesterday’s decision essentially tells the hospital to proceed as planned. Kincaid explains that they are focusing on what they call “triple-aim”, which has three components: increasing quality of care, improving the health of the community, and reducing costs. He notes that this is a very complicated piece of legislature. The triple-aim approach will be a guide for them, Kincaid says, as they begin to implement parts of the law into what they do over the next several years.

You can hear more from Kincaid during Let’s Talk Knoxville today at 12:40pm during the Marion County Mid-day Magazine on KNIA/KRLS.
