The Knoxville Softball Squad was limited to just one hit and Oskaloosa pulled away in the late innings to secure a 6-0 win over the Panthers last night. Oskaloosa scored in a first inning on an R-B-I single and plated two more runs in the fourth and three in the sixth. Knoxville kept it close by making plays on defense Coach Steph Christner credited Erica Fee who had to step into third base last night, and Marissa Lenger both for making tough plays to end the second and third innings respectively. Emily Wallace took the loss going the distance allowing six runs on ten hits, three walks, and one strikeout. Knoxville is now 4-6 on the season and will host Newton tomorrow.
