Six players notched two hits on the way to a team total of 14, and the Pella High softball team notched a 8-5 road win at Chariton Tuesday night.  The hits provided plenty of offensive support for Lady Dutch pitcher Bri Arkema, who scattered five hits and allowed just one walk, while striking out nine Charger batters.

Among the players notching a hit for Pella were Lexi McGinley and Morgan Ernst, who each stretched their respective hitting streaks to ten games; while Allie DeMeulenaere continued her dominance on the base paths with her 21st stolen base.  Pella High is 13-6 overall entering a key Little Hawkeye Conference match-up tonight at Oskaloosa.
