Local Law Enforcement Collect Donations for Special Olympics

Last weekend, the Pella Police Department, along with the Iowa State Patrol, were out in front of the Pella Walmart collecting donations. The program is called Cop on Top, and all donations received will benefit the Special Olympics Iowa. Ken Clary, with the Iowa State Patrol, who was out collecting donations on Friday and Saturday, says that they received $3,418 in donations. The donations will fund both training and competition for the athletes.
