A whirlwind regular season is rapidly closing and while the Pella High softball team is certainly looking forward to the postseason, they’ve also got their sights set on some key rivalry match-ups in the next few days. KNIA/KRLS Sports Director Eric Gotschall caught up with Lady Dutch teammates Joella Gerber, Bri Arkema and Molly Lanke on this week’s Marion County PM Sports Page program to talk about the team’s recent surge, why they look forward to playing Pella Christian, and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead.

Last week several local youngsters returned to Marion County after a week-long trip to Madison, Wisconsin, where they competed the the United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association’s National Championships. The members of Flip Squad out of Knoxville joined KNIA/KRLS Sports Director Eric Gotschall on this week’s Marion County PM Sports Page program to talk about their trip, what it felt like to compete on the national stage, and why they love their sport.
