The Pleasantville baseball team claimed an 11-1 victory at Mount Ayr Monday night in a very unusual fashion. The Trojans had just four hits on the night, but were walked seventeen times to keep a steady flow of runners on the base paths.
Of the four hits tallied by Pleasantville, Josh Luna had half, as he backed up a solid night on the mound. Luna threw the complete game, giving up just four hits. The Pleasantville baseball team is now 13-3 overall, 6-1 in the Pride of Iowa Conference, and playing at Martensdale-St. Mary’s this evening.
