Rain Makes A Silent Saturday At The Knoxville Raceway
Posted By sports On June 17, 2012 @ 5:59 am In Today’s Local Sports | Comments Disabled
Rain started falling in Knoxville at about four yesterday afternoon and did not stop until after seven, and by then the Knoxville Raceway had cancelled the night’s racing. The three classes are scheduled to run next week at Midseason Championships and Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame inductions. Going in Mike Van Haaften leads the 305 class, while Clint Garner has owned the 360s this season. The 410s are the closet race with Brian Brown leading Davey Heskin. However Brown is not scheduled to race at Knoxville until August. The race for second between Heskin and Mark Dobmeier is separated by just 23 points.
