For the second straight Saturday, rain was the winner at the Knoxville Raceway. Dark clouds moved in at around five and the skies opened up to the point that officials were forced to cancel the races. Along with the racing…the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame was also set to welcome four new members. Set to go in were: Ken Hessmer, father of Dave Hessmer, car owner Mike Vander Ecken, car owner and official Dwayne Robuck, and Two-Time Track Champion Skip Jackson. The inductees had a luncheon to officially be enshrined, however last night was to be the annual public induction ceremonies.
