It took just 16 games for Twin Cedars center fielder Brittany Roby to set a new school record for triples in a season, as the multi-sport stand-out for the Sabers slugged her tenth AND eleventh in a 12-2 victory Thursday night for Twin Cedars over Tri-County. The eleven triples is tops in the state across all classes, with the next closest player at six for the season.

Had Roby dialed back on a couple of her swings, she could have hit for the cycle, as her final stat line read: 4-for-4, with a double, two triples, a home run and four runs scored.

The effort came in support of starting pitcher Bailey Stone, who notched her first varsity pitching win; allowing just four hits and striking out five in six innings. The Twin Cedars softball team is now 10-6 on the season and back on the diamond this evening at Seymour.
