The man behind Shaver Racing Engines was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame on Saturday. Ron Shaver has hundreds of clients including five time Knoxville Nationals Champion Donny Schatz. Shaver talked with KNIA/KRLS’s Derek Cardwell about his engine company and last years Knoxville Nationals and how Schatz gave Shaver a Knoxville Nationals win.
