Another dominating performance in the Class 2A Regional Soccer Tournament gave the Pella High Girls Soccer Team a berth in this week’s State Tournament, as the Lady Dutch shredded Mount Pleasant 10-0 Monday night in Pella. The Lady Dutch were all over the Mustangs early, streaking out to a 7-0 halftime lead and closing the game ahead of schedule in the second half. Leading the scoring attack were Lexi DeHeer and Bri Schroder, who combined for five goals. The Pella High girls soccer team is now 16-3 overall and will face Sioux City East at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Muscatine. Pella was last in the State Tournament in 2009.
