Brittney Roby and Brooke Dunkin each drove home a pair of runs, helping the Twin Cedars softball team pick up a hard-fought 5-2 win Tuesday night at Moulton-Udell. Roby was spectacular, slugging four doubles on a 4-for-4 night at the plate; while Dunkin’s night was nothing to sneeze at – going 3-for-4 at the dish.

The runs came in support of starting pitcher Mackenzie Sedlock, who allowed eight hits and one walk, while striking out four batters in seven innings of work. The Twin Cedars softball team is now 18-13 overall and 10-2 in the Bluegrass Conference, heading into a tough non-conference road game tonight at Albia.
