After record-breaking seasons for both squads, a pair of members from each of PCM’s golf teams hit the course one final time this season as Mustangs, representing their school in the annual Class 1A Co-Ed State Golf Tournament on Tuesday. It was an all-Van Veen line-up, as senior Logan and sophomore Kelsey Van Veen teamed up, while the other Van Veen twosome was comprised of Hunter, a junior, and sophomore Kassidy.

Playing at the River Valley Golf Course in Adel, Hunter and Kassidy shot a 91, while Logan and Kelsey were not far behind – carding a 93. A duo from East Sac County took first place with a 76. The PCM girls golf team made it all the way to a Class 2A Regional Final meet this past spring, while the Mustang boys advanced as a team to the Class 2A State Meet in Livermore, where they finished third.
