Almost two weeks has passed since a group of 12 year old softball players from Knoxville went to Kansas City to play in a tournament and came back as National Champions. The Knoxville Attack won the United States Specialty Sports 12U tournament losing only once the entire event. Their Head Coach Scott Bridges never thought about winning the tournament because of the type of competition his team would face. Bridges adds the girls confidence grew with each win. He says they will give the girls a couple of weeks off to enjoy what is left of the summer, then get back together in late August for a short fall season.
