The Knoxville Softball Squad fell in the first round of the class four-A Regional last night 12-4. The Panthers fell behind 3-2 in the first inning, but were able to come back to make it 3-2 in the second as Haley Worrall and Erica Fee would score. However, that was as close as the Panthers would get as the Warriors put up six runs in the bottom of the third inning to break the game open. Knoxville committed three of its seven errors in that inning. Coach Steph Christner said that was a major factor in the loss. The Panthers were able to do a few things offensively as senior Emily Lee went 2/4, Erica Fee had a double and scored two runs, and Jory Wallace was 2/3 with an R-B-I. Knoxville finishes its season at 8-19.
