The Knoxville Attack 12 and Under Softball Squad has started off very well at the USSSA National Fast Pitch Invitational in Kansas City this week. The Attack went 2-0 in pool play and qualified for bracket play which begins this afternoon. They won their first game over a team from Missouri 17-2 then had to come from behind in their second game to beat a team from Overland Park, Kansas 4-3. Jada Agan was winning pitcher in the first game while Hannah Hatch earned the win in the second game. Molly Devin drove in Maggie Leavitt for the winning run in game two. The Attack now will await their opponent today as they received a first round bye in bracket play. There was also a skills challenge and Hannah Hatch won the 12UC national division for fastest pitch on the velocity challenge at 52 mph.
