A group of 12 year olds from Knoxville will head to Sioux City this weekend to play in the Little League State Championship. The Knoxville Little League All-Stars got to the State Tournament after clinching the district title recently. Head Coach Mike Wallace said the boys have been playing together since they were eight years old on a traveling team in the spring and summer. Wallace is assisted by Mark Zuck and Dan Davis. The State Tournament is July 21st-26th and will involve pool play then bracket play. The overall champion will qualify for the Little League Regional in Indianapolis in August.
