The Knoxville Little League All-Stars are in Sioux City for the Iowa Little League State Tournament. The Knoxville Squad got to the state tournament by sweeping through the district with a seven-and-oh record and outscoring the competition by a combined score of 88-22. The first opponent in pool play for Knoxville will be Boone at four this afternoon, Sunday’s opponent is Raccoon Valley out of Des Moines, and pool play wraps up Monday with Fairfield. Once pool play is completed the teams will advance to bracket play with the champion advancing to the Regional tournament in Indianapolis in two weeks.
