The Class 3A Regional Softball Tournament continues tonight for the PCM softball team, as the Mustangs hit the road to Kalona for a very tough semifinal match-up with host Mid-Prairie. PCM enters the contest with a 19-12 overall record; coming off a 12-4 win over South Tama on Tuesday night. The No. 4-ranked Golden Hawks, meanwhile, are 28-11 overall, and defeated Williamsburg 5-1 to advance. The winner of tonight’s game moves forward in the very competitive Region 7 bracket to face the winner of Centerville and Clarke. Opening pitch between the PCM and Mid-Prairie softball teams is set for 7:00 p.m. tonight in Kalona.
