The Pella High baseball team was limited to just four hits in a 7-5 loss at Centerville Tuesday night. Paul Anderson had one of the hits for the Little Dutch, but was able to cross the plate twice to lead the offense for the green-and-white.

Defensively, Josh DeWaard pitched all seven innings for Pella, allowing seven hits and striking out four Centerville batters. The loss drops the Little Dutch to 17-16 overall on the season and comes just three days before they’ll face the Big Red again on Friday – this time in a win-or-go-home scenario in the opening round of the Class 3A District Tournament.
