Daniel Langefeld belted the game-winning hit to help the Pella High baseball team notch a hard-fought 2-1 home victory Friday night against Fairfield. Langenfeld came through for the Little Dutch in the bottom of the sixth inning with an RBI double to help starting pitcher Schyler Kane earn the victory. Kane finished the night with a one-hitter and struck out nine batters; while helping his own cause by going 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple. The Pella High baseball team is now 17-15 overall; entering Tuesday’s regular season finale against Centerville.
