It’s a quick turnaround between South Iowa Cedar Conference opponents for the Pleasantville baseball team, as they’re are right back on the diamond tonight to face North Mahaska.  The Trojans are coming off of a narrow 7-4, nine-inning victory over Lynnville-Sully on Tuesday.

Pleasantville has seen North Mahaska once this season, way back on May 24th – when the Trojans staged an exciting 13-12 walk-off victory.  Much has likely changed for both teams since then, though, and the Warhawks enter tonight’s contest on a nine-game win streak.  Pleasantville is 23-9 overall, while North Mahaska is 18-7; following their 3-0 win over Montezuma on Tuesday night.

Opening pitch of the Class 1A District Baseball Semifinal between the Trojans and Warhawks is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight in Sully.
