Republican US Congressional candidate John Archer thinks Americans can do better. That was the crux of his message Tuesday afternoon while speaking at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida. Archer said America has more debt, doubt, and despair than it did four years ago, adding that unemployment remains over 8 percent and families and businesses remain unsure about how the new healthcare law will impact them.

The delegation nominated Romney yesterday evening. Despite the fact some delegates supported Ron Paul, including a vast majority of those delegates from Iowa, Archer thinks that there won’t be much controversy from here on out. He says that the enthusiasm and energy the Paul supporters bring to the nomination process has been very welcoming. Now, he says, the Republican Party must come together to focus on defeating Barack Obama in November.
