Perennial Iowa Conference volleyball contender Central College has been selected to finish third in the league this season by conference coaches. The Dutch trail Wartburg College – who was a unanimous favorite to win the Iowa Conference title – and Coe College; who is the defending champion.

Central was 24-11 a season ago, but finished just 4-4 in the league standings. They’ll open their season on August 31st at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational, then begin the Iowa Conference schedule at home on September 11th, as Wartburg comes to Pella.
