It was a quiet night at the Knoxville Raceway last night as it was the traditional week off after the Knoxville Nationals. Two of the three sprint car classes still have points races that will most likely go do to the final race of the night. Terry McCarl, trying for his seventh track championship in the 410s holds an eight points lead over Davey Heskin. The 305s have been a back-and-fourth race between leader Matthew Stelzer and Mike Van Haaften. Stelzer who has a 52 points lead over Van Haaften has earned a podium finish the last three races, while Van Haaften won three straight weeks earlier in the season. The 360 class has been a forgone conclusion since midseason as Clint Garner wrapped up his fourth straight championship before the Knoxville Nationals.
