Enjoying one of their few Saturdays this weekend…the Knoxville Volleyball Squad will get back to action tonight in its home opener against Chariton. The Panthers went 1-4 at the Newton Early Bird Invitational last Tuesday playing the likes of class 5A number ten Dowling Catholic, and fellow Little Hawkeye Conference members Newton and Oskaloosa. Coach Eric Fee says is encouraging fans to come out and support the girls tonight. He says they have worked hard and have been very focused in practice. Fans from Knoxville and Chariton are reminded to get to Knoxville a little earlier due to the construction for the new auditorium. Athletic Director Randy Wilson says fans can park in the west parking lot of the high school and follow the signs to enter the high school. The freshmen and J-V matches are scheduled to get underway at 5:30 with the varsity to follow.
