A Pella man finished the 2012 United States Bowling Congress season as the top bowler in his division.  31-year-old Joel Fee is the top bowler in Classified Singles, having rolled a 655 series on February 24th and 25th during the USBC Open Championships in Baton Rouge, Lousiana.  The Classified Singles division is for bowlers with an average of 180 or less.

As previously reported on KNIA/KRLS, Fee opened his tournament with games of 234 and 236, closing out with a 185 to cap-off the highest series of his career.  The official tournament closed last month, with Fee’s score holding up all the way through the spring and early summer.

Joel Fee bowls in two leagues a week at the Pella Excit-a-Bowl and was competing in his first ever USBC Open Championships.
