The new volleyball season is officially underway at PCM High School, and head coach Mike Vittetoe says even beyond the potential for success in terms of winning matches, he’s excited about the players he’s got to work with.

“The group of girls that I’m going to have are just unbelievably good students and [have] good morals, and are just fun to be around. Sometimes you have talented teams, but you’re not looking forward to the chemistry and they don’t get along, and this-and-that; but I’m really looking forward to working with these girls,” said Vittetoe.

“They’re just a great group to be around and I can look forward to coming to practice every day and being around them – so that’s really nice.”

The Mustangs return a number of experienced players for the 2012 season, which officially begins on Tuesday, August 21st, when they compete in a tournament at Dallas Center-Grimes.
