After losing the vast majority of last year’s starters to graduation, the Pella Christian volleyball team will undoubtedly take on a different dynamic this fall, and that’s perfectly fine with them. Lady Eagles’ head coach Cindy Nikkel says this year’s senior leaders are anxious to make their own mark on the program, and have also chosen a way to stand out visually as well. The squad will wear pink warm-ups this fall, which will certainly give the team a different look a season ago – something they hope will compliment their own flair in the field of competition. On Thursday, August 23rd, Pella Christian opens the varsity schedule with a home match against Johnston.
