A 2-0 start and impressive defensive play have got the Knoxville Football Squad some recognition early in the 2012 season. The Panthers have appeared at number seven in this week Des Moines Register Class 3A high school poll. Knoxville has victories over P-C-M in week one and a win over Newton this past Friday. Knoxville will host Winterset this Friday in the opening week of Class three-A District eight play. Pella comes in at number ten this week.
