Oskaloosa again proved to be a hostile environment to play in for the Pella Christian volleyball team, as the Lady Eagles were downed 3-0 Tuesday night; 25-20, 25-16 and 25-18.
Pella Christian setter Lauren Jungling put together a strong night, dishing out a team-best 16 assists and helping the defense with 5 block assists and 11 digs. Maddie Fopma led the Lady Eagles with 7 kills and Bri Warden finished with a team-high 24 digs.
The loss drops the Pella Christian volleyball team to 7-10 overall and 1-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Up next for head coach Cindy Nikkel’s squad is their home invitational on Saturday.
