Pella Christian’s volleyball team returned to action Saturday with a tournament at Iowa City West.  Working with a newly revamped lineup, the Lady Eagles found some of the success they were looking for, finishing 2-3 on the day and pushing Class 5A No. 4-ranked Dowling Catholic to a decisive third set and only falling by two points to the Maroons.  The Lady Eagles finished as champions of the consolation bracket and are now 3-8 overall this fall.  They’ll return home to Pella Christian on Tuesday night to host Newton in Little Hawkeye Conference action.
