The One to Count On...

Matching Strength Early is Main Focus for Trojans Tonight

Looking to move back above the .500 mark and go to 3 – 0 in Class 2A District 6, the PCM Trojans will be facing a tough task ahead of them tonight against a 4 – 1 Albia squad. The Blue Demons come into play after a close 39 – 29 loss to Bondurant – Ferrar last week and are looking to get back on track this week against an equally hungry PCM squad. Trojans head coach, Greg Bonnett, says that if his team can equal Albia’s strength early, they’ll have a chance to push the Blue Demons’ losing streak to two. “We talked about just being able to come out and match their intensity right away,” stressed Bonnett. “And we feel like if we can come out and play with them physically right away, that as the game goes on, and both sides start wearing down, it’ll be more of an equalized situation.” Tonight’s Class 2A District 6 game will be streamed live on our website, Justin Webster will have the call with coverage starting at 7 p.m. and kickoff at 7:30. You can also catch a delayed broadcast of the game this Sunday at 1 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
