Billy Moyer won night one of the Ninth Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals last night at the Knoxville Raceway. Moyer assumed the lead of the A-Main on lap eight and never looked back in the 25 lap event. Scott Bloomquist was quick time in time trials. The top five after Moyer were: Shannon Babb, Steve Francis, Brian Birkhofer, and Jimmy Mars. Many of the 80 drivers who singed in last night will return tonight to try to better their point totals in the final night of preliminary qualifying. Hot laps start at 6:45 with time trials set to begin at around 7:30.
