The PCM volleyball team notched a convincing win in the Heart of Iowa Conference Monday night, sweeping South Hamilton 3-0.  The Mustangs opened up with a 25-17 victory; were pushed until the very end of the second set with a 25-23 win; then closed out with a 25-15 win in the final game.  

Abbi Gilson had had a team-best 9 kills, and added six blocks on defense.  Mustangs’ setter Alex Samson had 15 assists; and Taylor Davenport was tops from the service line, converting on 19-of-20 serves with four aces.  

The victory over South Hamilton boosts the PCM volleyball team to 2-7 overall.  They’ve got a long wait until their next competition – next Tuesday at CMB.
